JANICKI INDUSTRIES ACHIEVES AS9100C CERTIFICATION

April 19, 2012, Sedro-Woolley, WA – Janicki Industries announced today that it has achieved AS9100C certification, in accordance with the standardized quality management system for aviation, space and defense industries.

AS9100 certification requires a robust, highly specific methodology for ensuring the highest quality of production.  Every aspect of the production process, from design to raw materials, through delivery and product support, must meet the standards of the major aerospace regulators.

The aviation, space and defense industries established the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) to implement initiatives that make significant improvements in quality and cost reduction throughout the value stream.  Their resulting standard, AS9100, specifies a quality management system designed to provide products that meet or exceed customer expectations, includes processes for continual improvement, and assures the customer and regulatory agencies of conformance.

Janicki Industries has facilities in Sedro-Woolley and Hamilton, WA, and in Layton Utah.  Each facility is AS9100C certified.  The certificate will mean Janicki Industries is eligible for a variety of aerospace, space and defense projects that require the highest levels of quality.
