Fun Events & Clubs

Janicki hosts many fun events for employees and encourages community involvement. There are also several clubs that Janicki supports. Here are a few of our recent activities:

Fun Events

Ski-to-Sea

Janicki employees team up to compete in the annual Ski-to-Sea competition, a multisport relay race that runs from Mt. Baker to Bellingham Bay. Read about our 2024 teams on the Limitless Opportunities blog.

Ogden Marathon

Each year, Janicki Utah employees participate in the Ogden Marathon.  Employees run in the full marathon, half marathon, relay team, and 5K.  Janicki has a themed “hoopla station” where we cheer on our employees, and all the runners, as they go by.  It is a fun event for everyone! Clubs

JIBS

JIBS is a bicycle and ski sports maintenance shop in our Bellingham facility. The shop is open 24/7 to all employees who join the JIBS club and is stocked with all the tools and supplies needed to fix equipment. Employees can also schedule free rentals of bikes. Janicki employees and family members participate in spring and fall softball leagues in Utah and Washington.

Janicki sponsors a coed employee soccer team in Bellingham, WA. Employees can join 8-week leagues which run year-round.
