Lindsey had previously worked in quality assurance in a different industry, but she felt that the overall culture towards quality was negative. Along with a long commute that took away time spent with her family, she decided to find a new role. In 2021, she applied for Janicki’s quality assurance analyst opening and joined the team.
“One of the big things I found out early on about Janicki is that their culture is very quality-oriented,” said Lindsey. “My coworkers are always willing to answer questions, help identify potential problems and work to correct them. I love that our teams are focused on process improvement.”
As a quality assurance analyst, Lindsey leads internal and external audits and implements improvement initiatives and processes. She enjoys digging into problems and solving them. Lindsey serves many departments and works with both production and engineering teams. She helped develop Janicki’s real-time digital quality report dashboards, which are used throughout the company.
Lindsey enjoys working closely with other members of the Quality team. While their jobs are critical to the company’s day-to-day operations, the group remains lighthearted and is always ready to support her when needed.
When not working, Lindsey spends time with her husband and two children. They love horseback riding, hiking, working on their property, and staying active with their church. She appreciates that Janicki promotes work-life balance so she can spend quality time with her family.
“I really enjoy my job at Janicki because it allows me to maintain a good work-life balance. I get to spend more time with my kids and I always feel like I can take time off when I need to.”
